On the campaign trail in Strathmore today, P.C. leader Alison Redford promised her government would establish 140 family care clinics across the province if re-elected.
“Family Care Clinics work in both rural and urban Alberta because they are based on serving the unique needs of each community,” said Redford. “These clinics will support Albertans living with chronic diseases like diabetes, taking pressure off our emergency rooms and reaching out to those in need of mental health and addictions services.”
Redford says the completed network would mean every Albertan could be enrolled at one of the clinics.
