On Saturday, May 26, 2012, will mark the first-ever Dancing with the Stars Wood Buffalo in support of the Fort McMurray Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).Modelled after the popular reality TV show, “Dancing with the Stars,” guests will enjoy watching six local Wood Buffalo leaders compete in a live dance competition for your votes in an all-out effort to raise money for the SPCA.
Each couple is competing to raise money for the SPCA by campaigning for your votes – each $20 vote is a donation to the SPCA. The couple that receives the most community votes will be awarded the People’s Choice Award, presented by Fort McKay Group of Companies. You can participate in this exciting event by voting for your favourite dancer while supporting the SPCA.
