A 21 year old woman was attacked behind the Thickwood Safeway on Thursday.
Police say a man assaulted her with a weapon just after noon.
She was taken to hospital but her injuries weren’t life-threatening.
The man is described as:
• Caucasian male with a pock-marked face,
• 50 years of age,
• light blue eyes,
• clean shaven with medium length grey hair
• 6 ft tall and weighing 260 lbs
• wearing a grey and purple hoodie, with light couloured denim pants and work boots
