Federal finance minister Jim Flaherty says that unemployed Canadians should be prepared to accept any job offer they get.
The Harper Conservatives may be getting tough on people who refuse jobs they consider “beneath them” or too far away.
Flaherty says that Ottawa is still working on new EI rule changes that define “suitable employment” and “reasonable” efforts at finding work.
