Workers at three oil sands companies will have a chance to vote at site in the upcoming municipal by-election.
The municipality says there will be voting stations at CNRL’s Horizon mine, Nexen’s Long Lake project, and the Mildred Lake and Aurora mines at Syncrude.
The municipality is hoping the better accessibility will mean higher voter turnout.
The election to replace two councillors and a public school board trustee is on June 25.
