The province is considering turning Highway 63 into a toll road.
Premier Alison Redford ruled out the idea of tolls to pay for new ring roads in Edmonton and Calgary, but was sure to say that tolls are being considered for Highway 63.
Transport minister Ric McIver told Sun Media that 63 is the only road that is being considered for tolls right now.
A recent University of Calgary study suggested the province pursue tolls to pay for future infrastructure.
