Police seize more khat in Beacon Hill

A local woman is facing charges after a drug bust on Thursday night in Beacon Hill.

The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team says it seized eight kilograms of the illegal African stimulant khat at the home.

It also found 22 thousand dollars cash, drug trafficking equipment, and foreign identification cards.

39 year old Saida Mohamed has been charged with trafficking, importing a controlled substance, possession of property obtained by crime, and 19 counts of forgery.
