Outgoing Liberal Party leader Bob Rae is coming to Fort McMurray on Monday.
It’s the first time the national Liberal leader has made the trek here since Michael Ignatieff in 2010.
The party says Rae plans on both touring the oil sands and meeting people in the city.
He’ll be leaving for Calgary on Wednesday.
In the last election, the Liberals had their lowest share of the vote in Fort McMurray’s federal riding in the history of the seat.
