Environment Canada is predicting a new record high temperature for Fort McMurray today.
The agency is calling for the heat to hit 33 degrees today.
That would shatter a 59 year old record high of 32.2 degrees, set back in 1953.
A year ago today, the high temperature was just under 18 degrees.
