The first step in the Fort McMurray Airport’s major transformation is done.
The new departure lounge has opened after seven hundred thousand dollars worth of renovations.
It’s twice the size of the old one – and there’s finally more than one bathroom.
Still to come is the massive new terminal in less than two years.
International flights are still scheduled to start up this year.
