Province speeds up three Highway 63 projects

The province is speeding up some of the work on Highway 63.

It’s putting three highway projects up for bids from developers ahead of schedule.

The first will see two new passing lanes and six passing lane extensions between the House River and the Highway 881 junction.

That should be done by next summer.

The second is grading for twinning 27 kilometres of road around Wandering River, which should be done by next fall.

And the third is 55 kilometres of tree clearing for twinning south of the House River to north of Mariana Lake.

That clearing should be done by next spring.
