Local man Chris Fowler became a millionaire a week ago today; but it took him two days to find out.
He bought a winning LottoMax ticket last Friday, the 13th, at a convenience store in Thickwood.
It wasn’t until he took a walk on Sunday evening that he checked the ticket at another store; and found out it was worth $21,771,980.30.
Fowler says the only plans he has so far are to help out some family, take a trip back home to Newfoundland, and maybe buy the corvette he says he’s always wanted.
