Cenovus says it’s given up on finding a partner for its Telephone Lake oil sands project.
It says none of the potential companies it looked at had the right combination of assets and patience.
But it still says the 1.3 billion barrel lease could become one of the company’s main money-generators.
Construction could start in 2014.
