Those new lights at the bottom of Thickwood Boulevard won’t be there for too much longer.
Alberta Transportation says they’re scheduled to be taken out by the end of the week.
The lights were installed after the shortened merge lane onto 63 southbound caused two accidents.
But they’re now causing massive traffic backups during rush hour, especially on southbound 63, even when there’s very little traffic coming down Thickwood.
