$2.1b oil sands pipeline expansion announced

Inter Pipeline says it will spend more than two billion dollars to expand oil sands pipelines.

It’ll build 840 kilometres of new lines for the Cold Lake and Polaris pipeline systems.

Those will take bitumen from the Foster Creek, Christina Lake, and Narrows Lake projects owned by Cenovus and ConocoPhillips.
