Three Fort McMurray residents were arrested in Abasand on Friday in connection to a Liquor Store Robbery.
Last Wednesday, Wood Buffalo RCMP got a call of 2 masked men entering the Liquor Depot on Thickwood Boulevard and demanding money from employees at gunpoint. After an intense investigation, one youth, and two adults are facing numerous charges. Two of the suspects remain in custody awaiting a hearing, while the other has been released on conditions. Police have recovered an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency, as well as the firearm believed to have been used during the robbery.
