Fort McMurray, AB, August 21, 2012 – The MacDonald Island Community Art Gallery presented by Kirschner Family Corporation is delighted to announce the organizations providing free workshops at Art in the Park on Saturday at MacDonald Island Park.
Workshops and artist demonstrations will be offered in painting, ceramics, drawing, photography, graffiti, glazing pottery, collages, landscapes in watercolour, Venetian masks and Mandala design, among other disciplines. Guitarist and musician Daniel Gillies will perform throughout the day.
The following organizations will offer workshops at Art in the Park, which runs from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. outside at MacDonald Island:

- Heritage Park (Fort McMurray Historical Society)
- Learning Through the Arts
- MacDonald Island Community Art Gallery presented by Kirschner Family Corporation

- Wood Buffalo Photography Club
