INTRODUCING: "Mi Play Pass" at MacDonald Island Park - Suncor Community Leisure Centre Membership
‘Mi Play Pass’ to feature free month, other benefits for annual members
Fort McMurray, AB, August 29, 2012 – MacDonald Island Park is excited to introduce the ‘Mi Play Pass’ as an update to Suncor Community Leisure Centre membership ahead of the expansion of the Total Fitness Centre.
‘Mi Play Pass’ carriers holding a valid annual membership between September 4 and September 30, 2012 will automatically receive a complimentary month on their membership.
In addition to a complimentary month, annual members will receive the following new benefits effective September 4:

Family memberships (couple, one adult and two adults) will cost $999 annually plus applicable GST

Annual members will receive front-of-the-line access to concerts and special events and to online program registration (some conditions may apply), while monthly members will also receive front-of-line access to online program registration

Annual members will receive a 20% discount across the board on all sports, fitness and leisure programs (some conditions may apply)
Annual members are reminded of existing benefits in addition to the aforementioned new benefits.

We are especially excited to begin expansion on a new Total Fitness Centre which will serve as another added benefit to our members in the months ahead.”
The expansion of the Total Fitness Centre is included as part of the MacDonald Island Park expansion project, which was approved by Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo Council on July 10.
Construction on Total Fitness Centre expansion is scheduled to begin in mid-September, and plans are in place to provide a temporary Total Fitness Centre on the second floor of the Suncor Community Leisure Centre effective September 17.
To prepare for transition to the temporary location, the Total Fitness Centre will be closed from September 13-16.
More details regarding the Total Fitness Centre expansion will be released in September.
