The Fort McMurray Oil Barons dropped to 1-2 on the season after a 3-1 loss at home to the Bonnyville Pontiacs.
Rookie forward Luc Lalor scored his first junior A goal in the first period for an early lead, but Bonnyville stormed back for two powerplay goals in the second and capped it off with an empty netter in the third.
The Barons are off for more than a week; they’re in action next Friday in Drayton Valley.
