Fort McMurray Airport has seen a record breaking summer
Our Fort McMurray Airport has seen a record breaking summer.
Last month became the busiest month in the airport’s history.
Passenger numbers were released, show that in an 8 month period from January to August just under 585,000 passengers flew in and out.

This is an increase of 15 percent compared to 2011.
It is expected that with non-stop flights to Mexico beginning this December, and the growth of the new terminal finishing up in 2014, the airport will see close to 1 million people annually.
