Majority don't agree with Nexen-CNOOC deal

The majority of corporate executives don’t agree with the CNOOC-Nexen deal.

The results come out of a recent survey done by C-Suite that questioned 152 corporate executives.

50 percent say they don’t agree with the deal while 42 percent say that they do.

The geography of the results is something to think about as well.

56-percent of those who support the deal with no conditions are from the West, while Ontario saw only 36 percent support.

Most executives however would like to see some sort of conditions, such as Ottawa oversight.
