The Festival of Trees took place at MacDonald Island Park this year in support of the Northern Lights Health Foundation.
The weekend long events included a Women’s Holiday Luncheon, a family night, a family skating party, a gala and live auction, the Santa Claus Breakfast and the Festival of Trees itself.
All proceeds raised will go towards bettering the quality of health care in our own community.
In past years it had bought such items as a central monitoring system for the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre and blanket warmers for the emergency department.
The final total of funds raised is unknown, though we will have the information for you as soon as we get it.
