Fort McMurray has another new doctor.
AHS says it’s recruited pediatrician Dr. Ghassan Al-Naami to provide care at the Bright Futures Clinic.
He’s just the fourth pediatrician to come to Fort McMurray.
But he’s the second physician specialist recruited to come here in the last month, after AHS brought a new anesthesiologist in October.
AHS says that shows its recruiting strategies are paying off.
It has three physician recruiters working on bringing new doctors to the North Zone.
Al-Naami is from Palestine but was trained in Jordan, and did his residencies in Saudi Arabia and the U.S.
