This morning police were called to investigate a domestic assault.
It happened in a residential area around 9:30.
Police had to use weapons at the scene where a man and a woman have both been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The man is in police custody.
The investigation is on-going and the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team has also been engaged.
