The Wildrose party has reportedly uncovered another example of an illegal donation to the PC party.
This time, by the Wood Buffalo Housing and Development Corporation, a not-for-profit, arms length agency of the city.
It says that the PC’s financial statement shows a donation in 2007 of over $2-thousand.
President of the agency Bryan Lutes told the Edmonton Journal that the agency never made another donation once it learned it was illegal.
Elections Alberta has been investigating cases of alleged illegal donations, though under legislation being debated, only cases within the past three years will have its details released.
This all comes after Premier Alison Redford’s sister was reported donating illegally through the former Calgary Health Region.
