Syncrude has kicked off the annual Food Bank Drive with a 65 thousand dollar donation.
The company has now given 425 thousand dollars to the bank over the last seven years.
The drive begins with the Corporate Challenge today, and lasts all weekend.
Trucks will be parked outside all local grocery stores and Wal-Mart tomorrow and Saturday from 9 to 9 and Sunday from 9 to 5.
Country 93.3 and Rock 97.9 will be broadcasting live.
This year’s goal is to raise enough food to feed more than 800 families.
