RCMP are investigating a suspicious death in downtown Fort McMurray.
They were called at about 9:45 this morning to an apartment building where a body had been found in the snow, below a low balcony.
It happened at 92 Biggs Avenue, behind the downtown Superstore.
Police aren’t giving out a description of the woman, and say an autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday.
They say they’re treating it as suspicious until it’s proven otherwise.
They’d also like anyone who was in the area in the last 24 hours who may have seen any suspicious behaviour to contact the detachment at 788-4000.
