*UPDATE 7:45 p.m.*: The park has re-opened.
Macdonald Island has been closed as of 1:30 p.m. because of contact with a water line that cut off supply to the building.
The park says it happened during construction piling outside, but that all safety procedures were followed.
The Suncor Community Leisure Centre and Miskanaw Golf Club Pavilion are both closed.
There’s no timeline yet for them to be re-opened.
