Air Canada increases service to Fort McMurray

Air Canada is increasing service to Fort McMurray.

The company is bumping up the number of seats on flights to and from Calgary by 18 percent.

Next month, the capacity on Edmonton flights will go up by 23 percent.

It’s also adding a second daily flight to Vancouver, and a third flight to Toronto.

The flights to Calgary and Edmonton will now be on Bombardier Q400 planes, which have 74 seats instead of the 50-seat planes that run the route now.

They’ll also have all-leather seats and more legroom than the current ones.
