A 54 year old man has died after a two vehicle accident that shut down highway 881 yesterday afternoon.
It happened about 45 kilometres south of Conklin and both Fort McMurray and Lac La Biche RCMP responded to the scene.
The passenger of that vehicle, a 24-year old man, and the 39-year-old driver of the other vehicle were both airlifted to Edmonton hospitals and are currently in critical condition.
The 24 year old was airlifted by an air ambulance helicopter.
The highway has reopened and police are reminding you the roads aren’t in good condition.
Police are still investigating.
