Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband is declaring his love for the ailing actress as she marks her 96th birthday by taking out a huge billboard advertisement featuring their wedding photo.
The star, who has been in and out of hospital in recent years, reached the milestone on Wednesday, and to celebrate, Prince Frederic Von Anhalt is making a big statement in Los Angeles.
Von Anhalt is also staging an Oscars viewing party at their home on Feb. 24 as a belated bash for Gabor.
He tells Britain’s Daily Mail, “We always have her birthday party on a Sunday and although she won’t be able to join in, I’ve got cameras rigged up and she’ll be watching the whole thing on a big screen from her bed.
“Plus everyone who goes to the Oscars will see my birthday present to her – a 40ft by 18ft billboard of our wedding photo which I’m putting up on Sunset Boulevard.”
Von Anhalt has previously taken out a huge billboard in honour of the actress to celebrate the couple’s 25th wedding anniversary in 2011.
