New Director for the FMPL
The Fort McMurray Public Library is welcoming a new director.
Carolyn Goolsby has come here from the Tacoma Public Library in Washington State.
The Board of Directors said that they had an extensive North America wide search, and even employed one of the nations leading executive search firms to help.

Goolsby is originally from Savannah, Georgia, and received her Master of Library Science degree at the University of Maryland in 1993.
She says that she is excited to be leading a library with a forward-thinking vision.
