Today, is Aboriginal Awareness Day, and Keyano College is celebrating.
Today’s events will starts with a meet and greet at 10 in the student lounge.
The welcoming speech will be done by Cheryl Alexander – shes President and CEO of C&O Consulting, a well-known community leader, McMurryite and proud member of the Mikisew Cree First Nation.
Free workshops will then conclude the day from 12 until 3.
There will be workshops in the Cree language, the Dene language, traditional crafts and more.
