Premier pressed to keep health care promises and change PST

The Premier is being pressed to keep her health care promises and change the provincial tax system.

Yesterday was day one of the legislature’s spring sitting, and the Liberals slammed the 10-percent flat-tax, saying that it only helped the rich.

The New Democrats reminded Alison Redford of her health care promises for sustainable funding for front-line and long-term care, new programming and facilities.

Redford says that there are no plans to change taxes and she hasn’t forgot her pledge to give Albertans health care they need.

The provincial budget will be released tomorrow.
