Housing starts in Wood Buffalo have more than doubled so far this year.
The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation says there’ve been 129 new housing projects so far, compared to just 64 through the first 2 months of 2012.
In February alone, there were 58 new housing projects in Wood Buffalo, compared to just 26 in February of last year.
That’s a jump of 123 percent.
