All alumni of the Mayor’s Advisory Council on Youth are invited to participate in a 20th anniversary reunion.
It aims to celebrate and recognize contributions made by the group over the past 2 decades.
Th group was established in ’93 to empower youth to become active and engaged citizens who have a voice in decisions that affect them here in Wood Buffalo.
The reunion’s on May 18th, and you are asked to call the program coordinator to help with planning.
Julie Dolmont is the Municipal MACOY coordinator.
In a release she says, “We are looking for previous MACOY members to give us a call or send us an email so that we can start planning our reunion celebration.”
“We want to spread the word about this event and bring together as many alumni as possible to celebrate this exciting milestone. We also want previous members to send in photos from past MACOY projects and activities, so that we can look back at the contributions this important youth group has made in the growth of our community.”
