The agency held a Morocco-themed dinner at Macdonald Island Park on Saturday, with proceeds going towards Alberta Health Services in the region.
Chair Dan Fouts says the six-figures will make a difference not just for patients, but also their families and health care providers.
Executive director Susanne Chaffey adds that it’s a great opportunity to bring donors and volunteers together with healthcare staff every year.
