The Fort McKay First Nation is not happy about last week’s Suncor pipe leak.
The community has concerns over the environmental impact of the 350 thousand litres of waste water that leaked into the Athabasca river.
As well, the Fort McKay community leadership is saying the comapny didn’t follow protocol when they didn’t notify community representatives in a timely manner.
The Community will ask Suncor to meet to discuss the two issues.
