Today, downtown businesses are getting together to talk about the negative impacts of expropriating for a downtown arena.
Franchise owner and corporate representative from the Keg Steakhouse and Bar Kevin Person, will be holding a media briefing and open house on how it will effect their businesses.
The Keg is not being expropriated but will be affected by it and is one of the 15 presenters at tomorrows council meeting.
Councillors will have to decide whether to expropriate properties in the lower town site in order to build a downtown arena in 2016.
The businesses include the Wolf-Taitinger law firm, the Total office, the A&W, and the Nomad Inn parking lot.
