Wood Buffalo RCMP are reporting their investigation into an online “baby for sale” ad on Kijiji has concluded, the incident is unfounded, and no charges will be laid in the matter. Police were alerted to the post made on popular Canadian buy-and-sell website Kijiji on March 28, which suggested a young female currently pregnant with twins was interested in selling one of the children upon birth. The post had since been removed from Kijiji, and it was unknown at the time whether it was a legitimate offer or fake.
