ASIRT to report on shooting of 16 year old

Today at 1PM the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team will release the outcome of the investigation that involved members of the Wood Buffalo RCMP.

In February 2012  a 16-year old boy was shot by police near the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre.

Officers were trying to stop a stolen car, and shots were fired when it attempted to escape the scene.

The two passengers in the stolen car were not injured and were released by police.

The two officers involved in the shooting suffered minor injuries.
