More than 1.2-million comments on the proposed Keystone X.L oil sands pipeline is being released by the State Department.
It gathered them from critics and supporters over 45 days after it released its draft environmental report.
It released 100,000 last week, and says it will release more weekly over the next 3 months.
It’s the first time it’s made all individual comments on a Presidential permit application available to the public.
It says it’s an effort to be transparent about the decision on TransCanada’s 830,000 barrel-per-day line that would ship Albertan bitumen to the Gulf Coast.
