A man connected to Rob Ford’s alleged drug video has been arrested in Fort McMurray.
Toronto Police say Wood Buffalo RCMP arrested 23 year old Hanad Mohamed from Toronto Friday.
This is after a Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued a week ago.
He’s been charged with first degree murder for the fatal shooting of Anthony Smith March 28th in Toronto.
Smith was named as the man Ford’s arm is around in a picture of the Mayor with two other men.
That picture was circulated after stories of a video that allegedly shows Ford smoking crack cocaine.
Ford says the video doesn’t exists and has denied that he uses crack cocaine.
Mohamed Toronto today and will appear in court tomorrow.
He’s the second man charged with first degree murder in the fatal shooting.
Police at the time said they believed Smith’s killing was a targeted hit.
