Redford heading to B.C. to talk oil with Clark

Oil is the topic of discussion when Premier Redford goes to British Columbia to talk to her counterpart tomorrow.

They last met in the fall in Alberta, and the two talked about their differences on the proposed Northern Gateway pipeline that would ship bitumen from northern Alberta to Kitimat, B.C.

Christy Clark says it need to meet 5 conditions to get B.C.’s approval.

Redford suggested Clark was interested in getting a larger share of the profits at the expense of Alberta.

Last month the B.C. government officially declared its opposition on Enbridge’s proposed project to the federal review panel.
