Because of damages caused by the flood, the services of the Primary Care Network will now run out of its after-hours clinic downtown.
It’s central location was in the Syncrude Sports and Wellness Centre, but it says its been completely gutted and will need months of restoration.
After shutting down on the 11th, it reopened on the 12th at the River City Centre with full access to electronic medical records.
The one service it can’t offer at this time is teleophthalmology (eye care through telemedicine).
The clinic is fully staffed with dietitians, exercise specialists, pharmacists, nurses, and social workers who work with local family doctors.
