Curling is coming back to Fort McMurray in a big way next year.
Next March, MacDonald Island will play host to The National Grand Slam of Curling for four days.
The tournament will feature 18 of the best mens’ curling rinks in the world, who will be coming off the Sochi Olympics.
As well, all 4 days of the event will be broadcast coast to coast on Rogers Sportsnet.
Organizers say that more information on ticket sales and scheduling will be released in the coming months.
