Exciting Announcement From Pearl Jam!

The countdown clock on Pearl Jam’s website reached zero on Monday afternoon, and with that came a somewhat expected announcement: Pearl Jam will embark on a North American tour starting in October, the first time the band has set a proper tour since 2010.

Speculation had run rampant that the band was planning a series of concerts after a countdown clock appeared on the Pearl Jam website on July 1. Pearl Jam is also expected to announce a new album as well: There are rumors of a new single, “Mind Your Manners,” as well as talk of a proper record.

“I’ve been told by the powers that be I can’t say anything yet because we are just mixing it right now,” McCready said in an interview with the “Bob and Groz” radio show back in May. “[The powers that be] are basically the five of us and our manager, we sit down and talk about — honestly, we don’t have a date for it yet.”
