An off road crash in a remote area near the Fort Chip winter road has killed one man and put another in hospital.
Police say it happened just after noon yesterday about 131 kilometres north of the city.
The driver of the side-by-side died at the scene and the passenger was airlifted to the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say neither of them were wearing a helmet or seatbelt.
Their families have been notified.
