A 31 year old man and 23 year old woman are facing drug charges after police seized over 700-thousand dollars in drugs.
Police say a search warrant on a vehicle and a downtown apartment turned up over 4-and-a-half kilograms of cocaine, over 26 kilograms of marijuana, paraphernalia and a truck.
An 18-month old child was present during the search of the vehicle on Friday, which prompted police to also call Alberta Human Services.
The two face charges that include possession and trafficking, and their names aren’t being released to protect the identity of the child.
They’ll be in court August 27th.
