Pollara says Canadians plan to spend $428 which is about 18% more than last year
Quebecers plan to spend the most, averaging $501, followed by the Prairies and Atlantic Canadians at $450.
Ontarians plan to spend the least at $390 for things such as supplies, clothes and technology.
